The inscription appropriately appears to read "van Quine," "Van" being the name Quine was known by to those close to him. Quine and Skinner were colleagues at Harvard, and this lovely inscription captures a moment in the crossing lives of these two highly influential figures. ; Signed and inscribed by the author, B. F. (Fred) Skinner, to philosopher and logician W. V. O. Quine. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author.
