Book condition is Very Good-, bound in full red buckram; with Very Good- dust jackets. Foxing to jackets, and often to first few pages through Title Page. Smudging and toning to jackets, toning to end papers. Mostly minor chipping to jacket edges, with occasional larger chips to jackets at spine (see pictures). Some staining to jackets of Volumes 1, 13 & 14, mostly to crown and rear panel. Hinges generally strong, though most volumes show hinge stretched and at times exposed at gutter between frontispiece and title page, or thereabouts. Shadowing on title page of several volumes from frontispiece. No markings to text. Different Frontispiece in each volume. Complete in 21 volumes.
