As Copyright page states, this edition was published separately by the author in July and October of 1890. Important Editor note about translation on final printed page, and volume also includes section on the variations in translation between the second, third, and fourth editions. In addition, this is an interesting and perhaps unique copy of this edition with hand-colored, illuminated borders from pages 36-59, and penciled tracing of border on pages 32-33.
