[ALS] Carl Jung Handwritten Letter, Signed
1942. Item #17334
Superb handwritten letter written and signed by C. G. Jung. Letter written to his mentee Dr. Rivkah Scharf, complimenting her on her work on "chosenness" which Jung brought with him to Ascona. Jung labels Scharf's content as "creative insight," and as in another letter to Scharf, seems to warn her against a potential insatiableness inside herself, which in this letter he fears might come from his complimenting her accomplishment. While suggesting to Scharf that she elaborate on her ideas, Jung then refers to his own writings: "The fact that I have written a great deal scares people so much that they might not read anything..."
Letter measures 5 3/4"h x 8"w, 2pp, expected folds and toning to paper. Jung's own stationary with his letterhead.
Price: $3,900.00
